Ākonga from Digital Media, Design & Animation will present their creative works at E/Merge 2025. The exhibition celebrates a wide range of design disciplines, including game design, motion graphics, animation, screen production, and graphic design.
This year’s highlights include graduating Bachelor of Design ākonga showcasing an exciting mix of physical and digital media. Featured works include Well Being Through a Lens, a book design by Nathan Pearce; Pare in Whare, a contemporary whakairo design by Sean Leamy; and Jack Warton’s 3D cyberpunk-inspired environments.
E/Merge also features the annual GS1 Barcode & Packaging Design Competition, an industry-led project that explores innovative approaches to packaging design. Alongside these highlights, visitors can experience creative projects from every year group of the Bachelor of Design and Certificate in Creativity programmes, displayed across both digital and print mediums. The exhibition will also include Architectural Technology Models. Tangible design tools that help ākonga explore interior and exterior spaces, analyse environmental and spatial aspects, and present projects more effectively.
