Located on level one of Te Auaha, Tapere Nui is our largest flexible black box theatre and hosts a range of theatre performances, comedy shows, concerts and more from New Zealand and International artists.

Tapere Nui boasts a retractable seating block, allowing the space to be reconfigured to suit your event or show. Our two most popular configurations are:

• Stage footprint of 7.7 x 9.2m with a seating capacity of 125 patrons
• Stage footprint of 5.5 x 9.2m with a seating capacity of 214 patrons
• Floor footprint of 17.3 x 9.2m with the seating retracted
